Time to change teats?

My little girl will be 7 weeks on Friday. At the mo she is taking an age to finish a bottle and keeps falling asleep. Last nights bed time bottle took 2 hours! Now I know that this shouldn't be the case.

We use the MAM bottles and have been on the size 1 teats, does it sound like we need to try the size 2 teats? And if so, I'm assuming the first few feeds will be very messy? How was everyone else's LO's when changing teats and how long does it usually take your LO to drink a bottle and how long did it take for them to get used to the new size?

I don't use MAM bottles but when we moved up a teat size, it was messy for a good few days but then he got used to them. Double up on bibs lol. Now takes 15 mins to half hour to finish a bottle. Michael was the same, taking ages to finish and falling asleep before he was done, now he happily finishes a bottle.

deffo up the teat size - baby will seem to struggle for few days but will soon take to it! xx
