Time limit on being able to edit?

I was wondering why I can't edit some of my older threads (for purposes of making them more anonymous and removing identifiable information before I close my account). Is there a time limit on it?

You should be able to change all your posts with the edit feature.

I will double check this wasn't changed for another reason in the past. Were there just certain threads you wanted removed? If so how many?
