Oh my God, this has got terrible :wall2:

Does anyone elses Toddlers do this? I'm fed up cleaning floors :wall:

i cant get katie to eat anything at the moment! only thing she doesnt throw is toast. so last night's tea was a bit of pork and toast with banana mushed in. i'm going with the she just wnats attention theory and am ignoring it as much as possible. might not be the right route to go down, but i was starting to feel like a parot  and the dog keeps being sick haha

She seems to love throwing spagetti the best

Rosie will throw whatever is left on her plate on the floor - plate and all; I have to get in there quick before she does it. It drives me insane!

Harrison is exactly the same and the worst thing is he knows it's naughty - can tell by how he looks at me when he does it...arrrggghhh!!

If anyone can fix this one, they woukd make a fortune writing a book xxx

Dec used to throw food, but now that he sits at the big table (no booster seat) he has stopped. I think he feels more grown up now that he isnt in a baby seat. He didnt like the booster for ages and I thought he would be to small to reach the table from a normal chair but a few months ago he broke his booster (I didnt sit in it and break it !!!! ) so I thought what the hell lets go for it since then no food throwing :)

Nim only throws food when she's full and I tend to ignore her. The mess is awful though!

Same as the others here. When he has had enough, everything goes overboard - plate and all. I say no firmly normally, but I am starting to ignore it, see if that helps. SOunds like it's just another one of those phases though!

 It's an awful phase :wall2:

Mananged to catch the plate this evening before it was launched

i decided to try praising her for eating her banana nicely tonight...the minute i started the "yay, good girl, clapping like a loon" bit, she launches the banana...we ended up with banana, cabbage and cottage pie on the piano!!

Rhys never throws his food/plate, Ffion on the other hand has been a nightmare in the past!! Now Rhys is older he carries his plate through to the kitchen and puts it by the sink and we are teaching Ffion that when shes finished she needs to do the same.. So far its working!

 I made same mistake!!

It's the same here... as soon as he's had enough it's all over the floor, and he finds it hilarious - it's like a little race - me trying to pick bits up so they can't be thrown and him trying to get to them first so I'll have to get them from the floor instead :wall:
