Thinking about a 3D scan?

Hello! Just wanted to share my experience of a 3D scan in case anyone is thinking about one - went on Saturday but baby was lying with his back against my tummy, his face up against the placenta and his arm across his face. Kept getting up and having a wiggle around, as well as drank cold water but he still wasn't having any of it. They booked me in for another appointment this evening and despite eating chocolate, drinking cold fizzy water, drinking a can of coke and even doing a headstand (!) he was still in a similar position, using placenta as a pillow so couldn't get a decent picture. At the end of the day, it was just going to be a nice extra and we've got a healthy, happy and very comfy baby which I wouldn't change for the world, but wish I'd thought before that there's no guarantee you'll get decent images / videos from the scan. Is quite a lot of money and a bit disappointing. Was lovely sort of seeing him again but I don't think I'd bother with one again! Xx
