the 24 week baby - on the news

I just saw a news report of a baby born at 24 weeks, she has just reached her 1st birthday and she is 100% healthy and has had the all-clear from the hospital.
How amazing is that!
It's fantastic!
I don't want to give birth for another 14 weeks but at least if I did I'd know it wasn't impossible for baby to be ok!

A friend of mine gave birth to her daughter at 23weeks. She is now 8 and apart from being deaf she is fine .

Sadly though it is still V premature and not all cases are such good news

I think Jen gave birth to Jeremy Keith Blake at 24 weeks, though I might be wrong.

Its great to get passed the 24 week stage but im defetly not letting my little one out yet.
Though i am desperate and very impatient to meet him.
Every day i know he is growing bigger and stronger but he's not ready yet.
