TENS machines

Hello, I have hired a Tens Machine from the health centre.

I was wondering if any one could give me some advice?

At parentcraft I am sure the midwife said I need to use it every night for a hour before I go into labour otherwise I wont feel the benifit of it!

but when I picked it up the midwife I saw said I dont need to use it before the pains start!

The only advice I can give is to make sure you use it from the very onset of labour - don't think it will help more if you leave it till later - with TENS it needs to progress with you so put it on asap!!
