Temperature affecting conception?

Hi,

I've just been wondering, since my work is very cold and I have a habit of standing over the heater to warm my bum up.

Could this have any bad effects on conception? I know that men's bits are designed to keep things at the right temperature and I think that my habit of standing over the heater probably isn't the best thing for mine either.

Has anything heard anything about that?

not heard anything about this.....but would also be interested if anyone knows, i stand over the heater at work too hehe

I'm trying to avoid it as much as possible just now. I wonder if I'll see any difference on my charts for days when I'm hovering over the heater and days when I'm not.

I don't think it would affect you at all, don't worry. Men's bits are more of a problem because they're dangling on the outside but our internal (I've just typed 'internet' 3 times and had to delete it...don't know what's wrong with me today ) temperature is quite nicely constant even if we're warming up bits of skin x

That's reassuring thanks. It's funny how things that you've never thought about before suddenly seem really important to you when you're ttc!
