Sorry if it hasn't come out very well. This just proves that our levels vary considerably from lady to lady and if yours is particularly low, then would explain BFN when af late then a week later BFP. I think this gives us all hope and a bit more understanding too. Hope this helps some ladies x x

That's a great table, good find!
Definitely reassuring for the BFNs when AF isn't showing

Mine was only 87 at 5 weeks - I miscarried the same day they gave me the blood test results

(i'd never been blood tested with previous pregnancies!)

Sorry about this hun, didn't mean to cause anyone distress with this table :hugs: Just thought it may help us all understand a bit more what's happening to our bodies x x

I have my appointment at recurrent miscarriage clinic on 6th Jan so I am sure they'll check everything out for me.

Can't wait to find out how I get a sticky bean :)

Aw bless you hun :hugs: not long now. My oh's cousin had 4 m/c's then finally had a little girl, who is now 1 and a half and she is now 18 weeks pregnant again, so just shows it is possible :) x x

It's always lovely to hear stories like this :)

I hope I get some answers after my appointment, fingers crossed it is just something simple :)

Hcg levels differ so you cant really go by a table or what you read on line. Mine & emma's was over 1 thousand at 4wks 3 days for both of us & were still classed as within normal range for a singleton so hcg levels can be higher or lower as long as there doubling then that's all that matters. ;) xx

The table just shows that normal varies considerably Star, just trying to help myself and other ladies understand hcg levels more, your levels are obviously at the higher end of the scale hun x x

Thats what i thought, first thing i thought of was twins or eptopic, molar. But then emma's is the same on the higher scale & she had a dr tell her it's within normal range. When i checked on the beta values main chart, there is ladies who have had higher hcg levels with a singleton so when you see a poll like this it goes to show that you cant go by hcg levels cause everyone is different/every pg is different, so lower or higher you cant go by it really, only a scan will confirm if pregnancy is doing well. Check this beta chart out :) xxx

Wow they vary more than the table suggests, the main thing the table showed me was just with bfp's hun, shows why some people get bfp earlier than others and some don't get bfp til a week after af due. I wasn't suggesting that it had anything to do with whether a pregnancy is successful or not, I just hope I haven't upset anyone :eh: x x

Aww no you havent upset anyone hun, dont be silly. Just wanted to share that chart with you because of how high a hcg level can be in 4wks pregnancy & still be with in normal range, not on the high scale & still be having 1 baby not multiples. A lot of the charts say higher levels are a indication for multiples, when that hcg beta survey show's thats not the case. Such as your chart says 5wks pregnancy with the levels i had at 4wks 3days & you saying my numbers was on the higher scale, ;) xxx

Thanks hun :) Its all so confusing and each pregnancy is so different too, just trying to understand it all as much as possible to help me ttc quicker :) x x

Rooting for you hun, you will get your bfp very soon ( Good things come to those who wait ) ;)

Merry christmas hun & Happy new year xxx

Aw thanks star :hugs:

Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year to you too :) hope you're feeling ok x x

Thanks to vixxi and star for the tables

It is reassuring to us ladies who are late and negative that it is possible to not be above the testing threshold until very late on (19days /three weeks) and that this can still lead to a sucessful pregnancy.

Thankyou.
X Daisy

I don't think I can wait 3 weeks I'm now 5 days late, another bfn, I can't concentrate on anything, should I go to gp? I'd do my own blood test in work but someone else would have to rake the sample and I don't want anyone to know
