Swollen, tired and backpain

i have just called the hospital as I am really really fed up of struggling with the siatic( sorry spelt wrong!) back pain. It is making me feel really down. My feet are so swollen I cant get any of my shoes on and I just want to cry all the time at the minute. Feel like I am being a right whinging cow but I can't seem to snap out of it. It might be the fact that I can't do anything due to the back pain. Sorry to whine. they have told me to go up so they can have a look at me,although they have said if everything is ok they will just send me home...so what is the point...

I think the point is that it's better to see you and check just in case there is anything serious the matter. As far as the hospital is concerned, the less interference the better!

Sorry you're feeling rotten. I'm sure you've tried all the usual; warm baths, extra pillows, putting your feet up, etc
