Sweep Tomorrow

Little bit nervous but am at the point where I will try almost anything to get baby out!
Hubby is very excited as he thinks a sweep will automatically get baby out; trying to let him know that it may not happen that quickly but he doesn't quite believe me.
Any tips post sweep to help jiggle things along?

My friends first sweep never worked and she had second which seemed to kick start the labour so just let your OH know that it might not work. I really hope it does work for you though and you get to meet your little one very soon! x

I've just had my second sweep today and am 3cm dilated. Fx for you that the first one is effective and things get moving quick for you! Xxx

so far ive tried - long walks
raspberry leaf tea
pineapple
curry
chilli
sex
orgasms lol
hot baths

nothing as yet - boohoooooo

its a laugh trying tho lol

With my first baby the first sweep made me start losing mucus plug, then my second sweep I ended up going into labor that night. I think sweeps usually work after #2. Just from my experience and hearing from others.

But hope this one works for you first time!

You won't have much luck with Raspberry leaf tea, it doesn't bring on labour x

Thank you for your comments ladies; it was a bit sore and apparantly my cervix is posterior and she tried to "walk it forward" ?!? (I have put up another thread about this)
