Swabs

So the 2nd time in the few days and thrush has returned. The MW has asked me to go to GP for swabs. Will this be similar to having a smear because I'm not sure i can do it if that's the case because there's a lot of irritation. And also, I hate smears :/

I have had to have this too!! Its not like a smear as it doesnt go as far up and isnt as painful. Its like a giant cotton bud. My doctors let me do it myself so hopefully yours will too.

Thanks! Had to go to hospital because of bleeding so them used the speculum & had trouble coz I have a tilted womb :/ horrible experience! One I hope I don't have to repeat anytime soon!

I can sympathise! Speculems are not fun!!

I had a tilted womb before I fell pregnant. Used to cause no end of problems! It's sorted itself out now though.
