Sunbeds after a c-section

It's been 2 weeks now since my section and Im feeling great, no pain from my scar etc and want to do something to make me look okay again lol, can I use a sunbed with my scar still being newish or will the uv be damaging?

Anyone know?

Hi,
i would check with your doctor or MW first just to be on the safe side. I dont actually know if its ok or not, but id imagine that at 2 weeks its still prob healing. Maybe use tanning cream instead for a while? "fake bake" is good, and looks natural!

Thanks, Ive just started using fake again but thought I might have a go at getting a real base tan for summer, kno theyre not the best but its been years so a short course shouldnt be too bad?

So long as my scar is ok lol

hi, you need to change your ticker first off...

when i had my section, i was told to not to use uv rays for approximatly 6 weeks, 2 weeks is a little too soon as the area is still healing, and you dont want to get it infected before its cleared, if that makes sense..

once it clears though the sunbeds are great, they take the redness out of the scar
