Is anyone going to pay to have a private Strep B test? I spoke to my midwife about it and she said it was totally my choice whether I pay for one or not, but even if the test shows up negative there is no guarantee I won't have Strep B when baby is born. However, from doing my research online I think I will get one done around 35-37 weeks as at least I'll have tried to reduce the risk. What does everyone else think?
