strange

I've said in an earlier post that I was worried about my discharge. I had light brown spotting a couple of weeks ago and, since then (and a bit before then), I've had a jelly-ish discharge, almost every time I wipe (sorry if TMI).

Yesterday though, there was a small lump - a blob - of stretchy tissue, greyish white. I have had no bleeding and a scan at 9 weeks showed a baby at the expected date with a heart beat (I also heard the heart beat on the doppler ultrasound) and the consultant said everything looked fine - touch wood!

What can this discharge be? I never had anything like this with my last 2 pregnancies and it's really worrying me.

I just wish I was in 2nd Tri!

2nd tri doesnt get any easier all the usual pregnancy complaints that you read about and hope dont happen to you, will start happening! and the time between the 1st scan and the 2nd scan is eternity.

though when i was in 1st tri i wanted to be 2nd tri too

now id like to be in 3rd tri, but at the same time the thought of giving birth is not a good one, so im happy with 2nd for the time being



You sound pretty normal with the discharge, it's usually just blood that really causes concern. Mention it to your midwife next time you see her maybe if it's still happening x
