Is it ok to use tap water when sterilising baby bottles or does it have to be bottled water?

If your water is safe to drink it's safe to use to sterilise bottles. Boiling it or using sterilising fluid (if using cold water steriliser) should be fine.

Tap water is fine unless you live in a country where it is not safe to drink the tap water.

Usually bottled water isn't favourable over tap water and for sterilising you'd be using boiling water anyway... Either put the bottles in boiling water for about 3-5 mins on the hob or when you stick it in the microwave it's the same it boils the water... Sterilising tablets are useless as you still have to rinse them off defeating the entire purpose in my opinion...
