"Steam sterilisers"(can't be true)!!

Hi

The health visitor has told my friend that you should replace your steam steriliser after 8 months and if you are using it for two babies after 4 months as this is the max they should be used for!!

This can't be true surely? I used the same one for both my kids and they cost around £50!!!!!!!!

If anyone else has heard this i would interested in hearing!!

i got health visitor today so will ask ahhh hopefully not mine was second had and if thats true Bs should have been changed before i got it

oh am I glad thats not true, as mine was second hand aswell. I was panicking thinking id got to go out shopping for a new one and thats far to much effort!!

Thank god for that!! I thought it sounded stupid too, it would be a big exspense if it was true xx
