Stabbing Breast Pain

Has anyone experienced this? Since yesterday my left breast has had severe pain, which is how I would imagine it would feel if someone were trying to kill me with a knitting needle!

I can only find a few online complaints from mums2b but nothing medical... Just wondered if anyone had been to the doctor about it?

I had that today in my right boob. Sharp pains starting from my nipple, ouch! It only lasted a few minutes tho. X

I'd had the odd stab here and there up until yesterday...and it's not constant now. It's just very frequent (maybe 3 or 4 times an hour) for the last 24hrs.

I've made a doc appointment but feel a little silly about it.

Must be where things are changing and developing more in there ready for feeding baby. I am not much further ahead of u and have been havign a lot of stabbing pains this last week even waking me up some nights. I hadn't had any pain in them at all for a good couple of weeks.

I have had that too, started really suddenly and then stopped after a few seconds. But always in the one side. I kind of assumed it would be something to do with bodily changes, there are so many I can't keep up with what is going on!!

i get this hurts more when i breath deep my doctor said its trapped wind..sounds crazy but does ease when i burp x
