Been thinking about my child care options for when I return to work.

My husband has said his parents would do a day if not 2. I said no chance as his dad does not own a driving licence yet drives a car.

My husband sees no problem with as ‘that’s how he was brought up’

I tried to offer some other compromises such as only his mum providing child care ect ect and none of these are an option.

It’s really annoyed me that he can’t see the issue in this and would be happy with his son being driven by someone who has no licence which means that there is also insurance.

Oh I'd not be happy with that neither. But then I live by the rules - driving licence up to date, insurance and tax up to date etc. I've never known different. Does he have to drive your son though? Could you not just put your foot down with the driving and drop him off there?
