Hi everyone,

Hope I'm welcome in your second trimester group.

Please be gentle with me. I had a second trimester loss in May at 18 weeks and I remain anxious this time.

Good to get first appointment and scan complete last week with no untoward news.

I'm starting to believe that I am indeed pregnant again and this time, I'll have a happier ending.

I told my other children aged 5 and 7 of my last pregnancy at 16 weeks only to lose baby Emma 2 weeks later so am reluctant to for a while yet.

Any other excited siblings out there?

I am having a 16 week extra scan next month which I'm hoping will further put me at ease.

In the meantime, lots of support would be most welcome.
