Smudged OPK?

So let cycle I got a +OPK and when I took the stick out of the reader it was smudged.

I've done one this morning and it's + and again it's smudged. As far as I'm aware this is the first time this cycle that it has been smudged.

Should I trust the reader? Pretty sure last month I ovulated but I just don't know!

All of my Positive opks were smudged! All of them! I have no idea of they're suposed to ,but it always made me wonder if i was actually ovulating or if id done it wrong x

Surely it's a sign then? None of my others have been smudged at all. I have had right side pain today too! Blood test will show it I guess

It must be, I gave up on them and figured I had either been doing them wrong or they were just shit haha! I went back to ic. x
