Smiley opk - how long does it last?

So...I got my first smiley face on the opk test yesterday on day 23. I expected it as was having cramps and ewcm HOWEVER would you believe that I was away with my sister for a night and won't be home until today. I got the smiley at about 6pm last night and was due to get home at about 2pm although am now having the most hellish train journey home so prob won't be back until about 6pm tonight or later. We last dtd on Thursday morning and my question really is if we dtd tonight as well should that be ok or do you think I'll have missed the 'window' - really can't believe how awful this journey back is - it like national rail don't want me to have a baby ha ha
