well.....its after 3am and i have been on the forum for an hour now. Baby is fidgeting and wiggling, OH is snoring (can hear hm downstairs LOL) and its really windy. I just wanna sleep!
I know from being on here people have suffered insomnia at my stage, so if any one has any remedies???? Ive tried lavender, hot drinks etc.
Usually i tend to wake up to go to the loo (always at 05.00!) and struggle to get back t sleep afterwards, so this morning is slightly different. I get really hot fidgety feet/legs on a night and have a cold water bottle in bed, but even thats not helping. Its so frustrating not being able to sleep, after the last few weeks its getting tedious now lol. :x
MAYBE its because im soooooooooo excited because tommorrow is my last day at work!!! yeah!
well im going to have another try, so nighty night...... just wanted to say good morning to you all LOL. Will be catching up more reularly since im finished work, so talk more soon!!

    Hi

Lol i think a lot of us are goin through this. Its 1140pm here and im so tired but i cant get comfy and baby keeps movin, then when i do fall asleep around 2, i wake up to pee then lay down and dont falll back asleep as my OH gets up at 430 am. So im usually back in bed by 6 am
But i guess we got to get used to no sleep, but right now it sucks, with the added discomfort.
Dont know what helps as nothing does for me Sorry . :(

I'm having difficulty sleeping too. I just can't seem to get to the good deep sleep place and only doze so OH's snoring wakes me up all through the night. Last night he slept on the sofa, which was great, but the night before I'd had to kick him out of bed at 3am as he kept waking me up ;o)

My theory is that it's hormonal; getting our bodies into in a state of alertness for when we need to be aware of the snuffles and cries of our babies in the night in a couple of months. It's pretty rotten when you still have to get up in the morning and go to work, but I'm hoping to catch up on some sleep over the xmas break.

Hey I was up for 2 hrs last night from 2am - 4am. I went and sat downstairs with a glass of milk thinking about how my life is about to change so drastically. I also thought about all the other pregnant women who were also sat up like me and all those who've just had babies and were up feeding. When I went to meet some of the girls from my NCT class for coffee this morning they all had red eyes and we realised we were all up a lot in the night. Apparently there was a full moon and this can caused sleeplessness. That and having a big fat uncomfy belly and wriggly little devil inside!

For the last month I have been waking up in the middle of the night really hot, needing the loo and then unable to get back to sleep. I am just so tired. Everyone keeps saying get lots of sleep now as you wont get any afterwards but it is just not possible. I thought I was going mad and everyone else was sleeping all day and night!!! Thanks for making me feel normal!
