I wake up on my back sometimes too, I thiink its something to do with oxygen to the baby but not completely sure. Not sure how it can be avoided during sleep though :( xxx

I thought was something to do with baby sitting on your spine or something and it not being good having weight on it, not to sure!! I thought it was sleeping on right side is something to do with oxygen to baby,as theres se nerve or something in that side, and they say sleep on left side, ive woken up few times on my backx
