Sick days

How many sick days have you had since being pregnant?

I know unfortunately a lot of ladies have SPD, etc so are signed off.

I've had 2 days and that's all I've had since I started my job 3 years ago. Stupid, but for that I feel bad. Today I've felt awful. I've had diarrhoea, sorry for the tmi, and upset tummy, and now a slightly sore throat

I had antenatal this afternoon so got to leave work at lunch, but I snuck away at 3pm as I felt so rough. Had a bath, flicked thru PF and then went to bed til half 6.

I really really don't want to phone in sick tomorrow so I'm hoping it goes away I guess I'm hoping that others have had sick days so I don't feel so bad if I do!

My big boss is a complete c word.

I have had about 6 days off...three for a bad belly and three for a cold...sounds really bad, but that cold knocked me out for a week lol x

I think I've had two or three. I sometimes feel like I should take more. Most people in the office have a week off when they get a cold. I had half a day off when I had a cold during this pregnancy.xx

i've had a few but i had glandularfever early on. aside of that though, general feeling pregnant crappy i've probably had 4!

u make sure you do what is best for you sod them, they dont care about you so dont worry about them. you are genuinely not feeling well and have an excellent sickness record. u have to look after u and LO xx

Put yourself first hun and take a day to get back on your feet x

I had 2 days and went home early twice as well. If you don't feel well take the day off, its best to get yourself better! X x x

I had a week recently - worked a wee bit from home over the week as it was more from aches and pains than a cold or flu - but you should def put yourself first x

I've had about 4 days off, 2 for a cold & 2 because I was feeling sick, dizzy & generally run down. I'm finding working full time a bit of a struggle now & definitely intend to look after myself, someone reminded me today that my baby is way way more important than any job so i think you should take care of yourself & don't rush back!

Just posted on ur journal, but I just wanted to say don't feel bad about taking sick days. I have been off work already for 2 weeks due to hyperemesis and I'm only 8 and a half weeks! Also my work don't even know I'm pregnant

I've had aaaages until December last year I had not had one day off sick in over 3 years, since then my life in general went down hill and Ive hardly been at work properly this year at all. Pregnancy was a positive aspect of my time off though

I had 1 day at the beginning due to sickness.

But then I got signed off due to stress for probably for the last I dunno 5 weeks, now have another 2 week sick note, then only 1 and a half weeks til maternity leave and I'd be very surprised if I didn't get those signed off too so in my head I'm un-officially on mat leave ^__^.

I have not had any time off but I work in a tiny team so if I wasnt there then I would really be letting people down which I hate. Mind you I only work 5 hours (well 4 1/2 really as get a lunch break too) so guess its not as bad!

Think I've had 5, 2 of which were when I was hospitalised!!

My sick record is crap usually so the last few months have been remarkable!!

i havent had any.........but have had no thanks for it....so sometimes wish i had just not bothered when i have felt pants xx

That's the thing SG, you don't get any thanks for it! I had those 2 days off at about 28 weeks I think x
