Should I go to drs?

Hi all, I'm 23 and have been ttc for 6 months now feeling low because my af arrived yesterday 😔 gutted!! Not sure whether to go to the doctors though because I've just read an article saying that if you have been trying with well timed sex for 6 months to go to the doctors. Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? X

There's no harm in going to ask but most doctors will say to leave it a year. I know it seems like forever away tho! X x

I second this. I went to the docs at the start of the year about spotting I had and she told me she wouldn't start tests until we had been trying two years! I was a month short of my 30th birthday and she said I was still young. There's no harm in asking however be prepared to be told to keep trying for at least a year. It's frustrating I know but most couples conceive within a year which is why they tell you to wait xx
