Should I go back on the pill?

Hi Girls.

I have PCOS. After being on Metformin for 7 months my cycle lengths are going off scale again. (Day 40 and no sign of anything and no ovulation despite clomid)

I hear going back on the pill can help?

Any experience or thoughts?

Sorry you don't appear to have AF. If you go back on the pill then you will need to put TTC on hold. It is really only you who can decide that. How long have you tried Clomid for and on what dosage? Have they suggested anything else?

Hi Hun, I personally don't think it's a good idea, as although some people claim to be more fertile straight after stopping the pill I think in the majority of people have wonky cycles for a while, so it may just make things worse? Also like Giz said, you'll have to accept you're definitely not TTC for a while which I know I couldn't do. I remember your gynae said you have to wait for clomid, is that still the same? Xxx
