Well i gave up giving her jar food, mushed home food or feeding her with the spoon, she just refused and got upset.

So she feeds herself, its all finger foods but shes happy and really seems to enjoy it :D

She let me give her breakfast and yogurts lol  It's like she agreed I could do that

I suppose shes a that age now when she wants to do things for herself, tho its abit of a pain trying to find different foods that she can hold, or can chew, lol roll on teeth :cheer:

Thea has always been exactly the same hun. Just as well really since i had no intention of feeding her mush anyway lol.

Aww sweet! Its lovely when they start feeding themselves!!!

Thanks for the replys

Aww that's great bless her! :cheer:

I can't wait for Brody to be able to feed himself! :D

the mess is brilliant isnt it!! if they make mess when they eat then who are we to stop em lol

This is exactly how Stanley weaned too. the only thing he lets me spoon feed him is yoghurt.

I never really bothered with mush as he was so unimpressed we went straight onto finger foods.

I think it's much better for them anyway :cheer:

 lol oli will only let me feed her yogurts and breakie

It's a completely underestimated term for the sheer blood, sweat and tears that went into cooking, cooling, pureeing and freezing into tiny ice cube trays a ton weight of vegetables.

I also use it to describe the little jars. Nothing against 'em, but Stanley was never interested :)
