September/October Babes

Frankie you are much further gone than me (I'm 16w) so not panicking about baby yet, however I am panicking as I have got to see the genetic councillor on Friday regarding Jacob's heart and other thing re short stature (he's only 70.5cm tall and is 15 1/2 months - he's in 6-9 trousers still) and the possibility that he may have noonans syndrome, we then have another appointment in Januar(which is just ages away), that will be the one I think where they will do the screening (then the long wait for results), Friday is mainly a chat I think.

Aww poor little Jacob, hope all goes well with the testing for you x

It's not even 12pm and I'm already day dreaming about bedtime.
Harry woke up at 2.30am last night completely soaked through so I had to change him which woke him up completely. He then refused to go back to sleep until 4am after I'd given in and the only thing I could think of trying was a bottle. He drank it all so maybe he was actually hungry. Who knows. The whole time though I could hear OH snoring (from our room, 2 closed doors away) which was making me more & more frustrated. I had asked him to help me change Harry but he just said yeh and fell right back asleep. So the louder his snoring it the more annoyed I got. Que me storming into our room at 3.30am and launching the lid off Harry bottle at his head and shouting at him to shut the eff up. Ha! He's in a right wee huff with me now but it did make me giggle thinking back about it this morning. I'm so exhausted. I just wish Harry would sleep better. He was getting so much better for 3/4 days and now this :'-( xxx

How's everyone doing? Can't believe it'll soon be our babies 2nd Christmas!!
Everyone got their trees up?

Rheann I hope Harry's sleeping a bit better this week? Don't blame you for getting annoyed at your oh!! Men!

Hey kerry.
I have ny tree up. Its already got a smashed Daisy snow glob decoration and 2 baubles with the hangy end broken off. Only been up since lunch time too. Little madam.

Im all shopped out happy to say im done. Just 2 mens gifts to find but good old amazon will be helping me there. I blitzed my shopping on Wednesday and have got lots online too. Its also wrapped. I will enjoy December now.

Dgs been a bit odd of late. We are approaching a leap. Wonderful times ahead hu. However, ive noticed she can be sleeping 17 hours a day. She was having 14 hours in the night then 3 hour naps. Dont know why. She doesnt seem ill. Then shes started this weekend to create holy hell when I put her in her cot. Currently listening to her whine on the monitor. Shes fine but over tired now. Not used to bed time fights to be honest. I dunno how you mummys with babies who dont like to sleep cope. Once she falls she will be sound but 10 mins in and its still whine whine whine. Not even crying. Little diva.

Hope everyone is ok and feeling festive. Xxxxx

Hello ladies =)

We also have our tree up. Logan is amazed by it! We have been lucky that he isn't touching it though. However, his older sister who should know better won't leave it alone! Driving me bonkers!

I'm well and truely in the Christmas spirit. It's driving my OH bonkers haha. Off to Glasgow on Thursday, so will hopefully get the Christmas jumpers and pyjamas sorted!

Logna is now well and truely walking! He is desperately needing shoe but we have nowhere in town to get his feet measured. We decided to go to Inverness on Friday to get him measured. Got 3/4s of the way there, and a lorry had an accident and blocked the whole road, so had to turn and got home! Think I will just order a measuring thingy online! x

Ladies I think we've been neglecting our thread lol.

Hope you've all had a wonderful Christmas, ours has been hectic but fab.

Much love from us to Aaron x x x

You're right Frankie! Think its been a busy couple of months for everyone.

We had a good Christmas thankyou :) we were both full of a cold but it didnt matter. I was just grateful to get to spend the day with LM.

Back to uni monday, so will only get two full days a week with her :(

Hope everyone is ok xxx

Hey ladies, all good here, little man is doing well, had a fab Xmas, got spoilt rotten (as usual) he's seeing the genetic specialist next week regarding noonans syndrome as try think he might have it, but likely we won't have results till after this baby is here too. He seems to have got into a habbit of waking in the night again and I have no idea why, but it's nearly every night at the moment :-(. Has anyone else found their little one going through a habbit of refusing to say mommy/momma etc? Jacob is constantly calling me daddy, now he can say mom/mommy but he just wont, he always says hi daddy, awwww daddy etc :'-(

On the baby once got a scan tomorrow with Jacob's heart specialist to see if they can see any abnormalities with baby's heart, although they may not pick anything up in pregnancy, it's better to be checked (if they do feel there's is an abnormality, I will be speaking to them about a c-section this time for baby's sake).
I have a repeat anomaly next week too as my womb appears to be tilted this time round, so they were unable to do all their checks during the original one 3 weeks ago.

Sproglett, yes William refuses to say mummy any more. It's been weeks since he said it and I know he can cos it was his first word. Daddy is his favourite, little monster.
Saying that though he's been less than impressed with me lately since I introduced his baby brother to the equation. We've had some major jealousy issues and tantrums like I never imagined possible. Luckily he's starting to get better and will actually go over to Alex and give him a kiss and try to cuddle. Then 2 mins later tries to whack him with a toy :-( I definitely need an extra set of eyes!
I hope your scans go ok and they can see what they need to. What will be the age gap for you when baby arrives? X

By due date 21 months but I'm high rush of another premmie, so who knows. :) - congrats on the birth of Alex how are you finding having 2 (other than the jealousy?). X x

I'm knackered lol, one goes to sleep and the other bloody wakes up! Also leaving the house is a challenge in itself. OH goes back to work tomorrow so I'll at least be able to get some routine back, he's been getting under our feet and messing things up for weeks which hasn't helped William at all x

Bless you, Sounds like fun, I'm really excited I know I'll have my hands full but can't wait, I've ordered my double buggy now too :) x

Moments like this make everything so worth it!

Wow seems like ages since I've been in here :)

Had a quick neb and glad to see ur all getting on ok x

Evie is 15.5 months now and still showing no interest in walking lol she will crawl and cruise all day long but refuses to do anything more! She is definitely a talker though :) says allsorts and says it very loudly lol she has 12 teeth now too! Unfortunately she is still very much milk intolarent :(

Quick question - has anyone else still got their little 1 in a rear facing car seat? Seems a bit like a competition near me who can get their baby forward facing first!!

Hi everyone. I forget to update these days.
Hope your all ok. The babies are getting so big. We have forward facing Terri. Only cause we have a van for our main transport (and a 2 seater but that's as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike). Xx

Wee Diva update. She's fabulous. She really is such good fun. She's still sleeping 13 hours. We were getting 15 so it's kind of dropped back a bit. She has a 2 hour nap in the afternoons tho. Not sure how many teeth as she tends to bite when I look so I gave up lol. She's no longer walking-she runs everywhere. Eating is picky and I am sure her reflux is bothering her again. We were trying to wean her from omeprazole but that's not going well. Her language skills amaze us. It's like I've give birth to a wee parrot. She's endless. You can't say something now for the fear of her picking it up.
So yep we are all good here. Excitedly counting down the weeks to the wedding. I show Daisy Grace my shoes and she literally melts and says "oh wow mum". Think she approves. Haha. Xxx

My little man is amazing (aren't they all!) and is coming on in leaps and bounds. His walking is great, his eating is great - just need to get him to agree to stopping the BF!! x

Hi cos :) glad ur little man is good :)

I just don't know what to do about the car seat situation!! She still fits in the maxi cosi cabriofix car seat and is well under the weight limit for it but her legs r getting a little long? To give u an idea of her size she is still wearing 9-12 babygros lol I know she is in theory big enough for a forward facing car seat but I'm just worried about her strength? She still seems to small to me and I really don't want to turn her round yet?
