Second Tri and 1st scan all in one day!

Hiya Ladies,

I hope everyone is feeling good!! I had my first scan this morning, was amazing to watch, had to wake bubba up but once he/she was awake they wouldn't stop moving! Waving, kicking, bouncing around and generally telling us off for being woken up lol!

Health-wise all looked fine, I had the NT scan which was normal, just waiting for bloods now. For some reason my veins didn't want to play along so after being jabbed 6 times (twice in one arm, four(!) in the other) I'm black and blue and have to go see the phlebotomist at my docs on Monday instead. I think the nurse was just rubbish tbh, never had any problems getting blood before!

I was only given one pic which I was a bit disappointed with, I wanted to buy more but wasn't given the option. Oh well, I will just have to copy it for my parents and in-laws instead.

On the whole a great experience, but I've come down to earth with a massive bump and suddenly everything now seems VERY real. Eeeeeeek!!! It's real!!

awww congrats!! thats great!!! as for your bloods your iron can drop while preg so u may need some iron tabs or summit but theyll get that sorted for you...

shit bout only getting one pic but see if you scan it on a scanner it comes up even clearer must be the definition of black and white i dont know but my MIL scanned ours and it came up class!!!! xx
