Ive managed to scratch the surface on our cooker when I was cleaning, not concentrating and used the wrong cloth  Is there anything I can try to get rid of it? My OH will not be impressed if he sees it, although as he never ever cooks him seeing it might take years anyway :rotfl:

I use a bit of baby oil - it hides it a bit if i remember correctly from my days at tescos!(worked on butcher counter and it was all stainless steel)

Rub it in with kitchen roll

Oooh great, thankyou :D I'll try that out before he gets home!! Not that he'll even go in the kitchen so theres no rush

let me know how you get on! we have a ss cooker hob and splashback thingy and I can never find what to clean it up with. good luck!
