I am so happy to have reached this point - I am 12+1 and have my dating scan tomorrow! That doesn't stop the nerves and anxiety though. It's quite a late one - 2:20 so I have a whole day of waiting and worrying. Thank goodness my Mum is coming over in the morning to visit! I'm hoping I can come on here tomorrow all beaming and happy with a picture to share. Wish me luck girlies xx

You guys!! It was beautiful, my sonographer was completely lovely.. Baby was fast asleep but we had a shimmy and got him to wriggle around in the end which was good to see!! Nuchal measurement was 2.4mm - I know that's within the normal range but perhaps a tad higher than I feel comfortable with.. Still, a wonderful experience! How did you go HoldingThumbs? xx

That's great, such a clear pic. You must feel so much better now? I had mine on Monday and all was well, I certainly feel so much better now. Our little one wouldn't stop moving so wasn't able to get a clear still photo at all or the screening tests. I was also put back a week, now due 31st Jan.

Thanks lovely, it is a good pic! Compared it to the scan of my daughter and that one just looked like a floating head! I did feel that massive wash of relief but you still find things to worry about.. Definitely in a better place than I was a few weeks ago.. Oh no! Haha, that's adorable.. I secretly wished ours moved a little more but glad (s)he was so still for the screening.. Are they bringing you back in to try and get the measurements? Bit of a bummer being put back - I was due 31st, now the 29th. They never come when they're supposed to anyway! xxx

Scan today went well ladies. Wasn't a comfortable experience - the sonographer sent me to empty my bladder three times because it was squishing baby's face and she couldn't get a good view! I only drank as much as they told me, but apparently have an enormous capacity! - but we saw baby, growing nicely and with a clear heartbeat. Such a relief. He or she is a real wriggler, so pretty blurry and a bit upside down, but here they are xx
