I've got my 20 week scan this morning and even though its only been 3 years since I last had one, I can't for the life of me remember if you need a full bladder? It doesn't say on my letter.

    Can anyone advise please?

Excited to see bubs just hope everything's ok!

I needed a full bladder. The sonographer checked the stuff she needed to, like the fluid in stomach and bladder of bubs. and then i was allowed to empty so could do rest of the scan in comfort.

I reckon thats good advice from Holly, go with a full bladder and then just empty if needs be.

    Good luck :)

Like the girls said, go with a full bladder, you can always empty it if you don't need it full :)

I was told to have a full bladder, she did all the measurements she needed to with a full bladder and then she let me empty it half way through to give baby room to wiggle around so she could check out different angles x

Thanks ladies, going to go with it fairly full. Better start drinking.
