Hope Claire doesn't mind me updating- just turned my phone on:

one text from Sam at 5.56am announcing Lewis is here! He weighs 7lb 1oz

Had another text a bit later saying :

Lewis isn't well. They have put him on the SCBU at the moment to try and suss out why he is grunting, the normal reasons have all come back fine. We are going to be in for at least another 48 hours- im putting my foot down about breastfeeding. I'm waiting for them to do the drip before I go and see him, i can't face that at the moment. i'm abit of a wreck at the moment

Hope he gets better soon and CONGRATULATIONS on your new little baby boy xxxx
