    Hello!

Used a Sainsburys test this morning and there was no vertical line to make the cross in the test window so I thought, ok It's negative. I left it by accident for a few hours and now there's a very faint blue line on it, off centre to the left.

I know it says not to read results after 10 mins but I presumed that the reason for this is that a positive might disappear, not appear! Anyone else used these? Is the vertical positive line supposed to be in the centre?

I'm not getting my hopes up, as don't think I'm pregnant. I'm testing again on Sunday, but I'm just interested in your opinions or experiences of these tests.

    Thanks ladies xx

I've had that happen on lots of tests, inc the big brands. Don't know why it happens but I can say that when it happened with me it was a false positive

    Just found this on line...

Reading the results before or after the time slot given, can leave evaporation lines, which in themselves are faint or pale in color. It can look like a faint positive, but it’s really just the result of the urine evaporating and leaving a residue behind.

Yeah I thought so hun! Thanks for your posts :) I understand it now but certainly won't be using Sainsburys again! I'll try Superdrug for next cycle then wait to do clearblue digi. Wait Vicki, wait! Yes...you have that in writing! ;)

Thanks Mrs Hope...lovely name! :) xx
