Does anyone else have big red patches on there face?, I'm assuming it's due to pregnancy and hormones. I have a patch of really red skin on the right hand side of my face and there are itchy little spots on it. I have got to the stage where it is reaaaally hard to cover with normal make up. I really need some specialist make up to cover it.

Thanks for the advice. I'm pretty sure its rosacea because I am prone to bouts of acne, and apparently rosacea is a form of that. I find that e45 cream helps quite a bit, and that seems to tie up with this being rosacea. Unfortunatley one side of my face is so bad at the minute that I would just feel far too self conscious to go without the make up, but I will take your advice on the sun cream and not using exfolitors x

I have found with pregnancy that the skin on my face around my nose and cheeks is also redder. I went to the clinique counter and I'm using some redness foundation etc. In my opinion it works a treat! I also bought some redness cleansers and clarifiying lotions from them. Pretty expensive but like you I was far too self conscious to go out without any foundation on etc! After a few weeks of using the cleanser and clarifying lotion it really calmed the redness down! xx
