Had an early reassurance scan today.
According to my LMP (03/09/21) I should be around 7 weeks today.
I hit peak ovulation 13/09/21- so ovulated early that cycle.
    First positive was 23/09/21
Today I went, I’m definitely pregnant, there’s definitely a sac, definitely one baby in there but is measuring very small (I didn’t get any sizes) I couldn’t personally see it on the screen.
Unable to find a heartbeat due to size, have go back 2 weeks time.
Absolutely devastated I can’t work out why the baby is so small, my dates are 100% accurate as I’ve been keeping track. I’m just so worried something is wrong.
No cramping no spotting or bleeding.
Is it normal to be so small?? I’m beside myself. theyve said not to worry but that’s exactly what I’m doing!

So sorry for all the news here! The worry isn’t going to help. I was in a very similar situation, except that the sac was empty. They told me to rescan in two weeks as well. If they told you not to worry, then I don’t think they are majorly concerned. They told me to basically expect the worse, but because they saw your baby, I think it will have time to grow. Scans aren’t always accurate, and it can be difficult to get the heartbeat early. Try your best not to stress your body out! <3

We had a scan at 5 weeks + 2 days as I was bleeding and had pain. Same as you, everything all present & correct for so early on but baby too small and couldn't see anything else other than the sac. 10 days later we had another scan, and there it was, our little bean clearly visible heartbeat flickering away.

I know its so flipping hard, but try not to get too stressed you are early still :)
