reflux - when do they grow out of it?

i had started reducing Freya's ranitidine dosage as she was on 1.7mls 3 times a day.

Over a week I have taken her down to 1.4mls 3 x daily but today we have rancid puke and fussing over bottles and not finishing them.

I am also wondering if this is why she has been fussing over her food this week too. She wants to eat it, but just screams and sobs and thrashes about in her high chair.

she is 9mnths and I was so hoping that she had grown out of it already!

Katie started to grow out of it at 4 months.

Im not about to stop the omeprazole to find out. I have take daisy grace off the domperidone though. Maybe you should ask the gp to try omeprazole. Its been wonderful for us. Xx

HV told me on Tuesday that they've normally grown out of it by now. K is 9 months. I told her that I'd tried to take him off reflux milk but he puked within 5 mins of finishing the bottle. I told her I was concerned what will happen when he gets to 1 and goes onto cows milk. She has booked us in with a dietician to discuss, it maybe that he has to have a thickener in it.
I hope he can tolerate it but at this point in time I can't see it xx
