I'm 18 weeks and have felt flutters/flips/wriggles for about 2/3 weeks but just this last week I've felt nothing?

Also my morning sickness has stopped (I guess it's normal for it to stop and it did stop around 20 weeks with my 1st)

But also my skin condition I had, which went away when I got pregnant has come back this morning. :(

I'm gonna ring the midwife today (when I've got LO ready & had the doggy out for a walk just in case she asks me to go over to the hospital) but I've scared myself. Is it unusual not to feel a lot at this stage, despite feeling flutters earlier on? :( xxx

I'm 18 weeks on Sunday, I thought I'd felt baby a few times but I've not felt anything for a week or so.

At my gender scan on Saturday he told me I had an anterior placenta, it wasn't mentioned or noted at my 10 or 12 week scan.

I don't think they would concerned tbh. I think it's not until later into 20 odd weeks that they class regular movement! Not sure though as I haven't got that far yet xx

I know it's really hard not to worry, but try not to. Remember that baby is still quite small at the moment and comparatively your uterus is big, so they have loads of space to move around in. My midwife explain this to me this morning when explaining why she wasn't going to try and find the heartbeat.

Let us know how you get on speaking to the.midwife.

Big hugs xx

Hi, I know it is hard, but try not to worry.

At around 20 weeks I had as well couple of days in a row without feeling the usual flutters/ kicks and I was very concerned. Midwife told me not to worry as the baby is still small . I had a scan at 21 weeks and baby was rolling and very active during the scan and I wasn't feeling anything then. Depends on his position I believe. Mine got very active at the moment so I suggest you to wait and try not to be concerned x

Finally got through after two hours. The midwife said baby's movements won't be consistent at this stage, as there's a lot of room for baby to move in. But I've to go over & they'll listen in. My appointment is half 1. Thanks guys I'll let you know but hopefully all is well xxx

Hi hun
I'm 17 weeks and only just started feeling movement last week, I agree with the others and I think it's quite normal not to feel baby all the time, I didn't feel her much yesterday but I've felt a few flutters today
Let us know how you get on sweetie :)

Yeah in my rational mind I'm like surely it's just too early... but I can't remember when I last felt it. :( Been at work & getting the bathroom redone so it's been a hectic few days & it's only when I've stopped and really thought, I've realised. Which is worrying. :(

I had to go to hospital at 23 weeks and they asked about babies movements... I said she wasnt moving much they said oh thats normal for under 28 weeks. They dont get concerned if its under 26-28 i think. But you know your body better than anyone if you think somethings wrong tell them x

Also, if your busy they tend to sleep more ive herd, on monday i didnt feel anythign really but i was busy alll day long then the next day still barely anything so went to call the midwife and she started kicking like crazy! x

Back from hospital. Midwife was lovely and reassuring, found baby's heartbeat in an instant. Sounded quite slow, thought it was my own at first! Baby moved and the Doppler picked it up, but I didn't feel it. So that reassured me.

The midwife said I made the right decision to get checked, as I'd only worry & worrying isn't great for the baby.

Thanks everyone for replies I'm feeling much better now just want to feel baby more so I'm certain he/she is okay! X

Hi Starchild That's great to know the update. Just relax and all will be good xx
