Does anyone have any ideas for easy meals to cook (Grace is almost 8 months) have the annabel karmel book but some of the ingredients are a bit fancy. Feel like I'm giving her the same thing to eat lately - looking for some inspiration! x

I don't have much inspiration im afraid hun- r u TW? I've been doing a mix of BLW and TW but Ethan is a bit constipated at the mo so he's just getting lots of fruit and veggies! U could try just giving her whatever u r having if.its suitable? Then.u havent got to think of a separate menu? Or u could just have a nosey round the supermarket baby food isle and try and copy some of the recipes from their baby meals? I know what u mean about the Annabel Karmel book tho x

Alice loves coliflower cheese! Coliflower and cheese sauce blended it goes a long way too and cheap :D x

I try and do stuff that Ella's kitchen do. So broccoli, pear and peas. Carrot, apple and baby rice. Sweet potato, parsnip and carrot (I added mince beef too). Spag Bol as per my thread lol.

thanks girls, will def try the cauliflower cheese! Good idea re copying the Ella's kitchen combinations. Mum2B - I'm mostly doing TW but she does have finger foods too. Funny as Grace has been a bit constipated lately, something she's used to suffer with as a young baby but I have lactulose which the doctor prescribed which helps if it gets really bad x x

Ethan LOVES cauliflower cheese! I make the cheese sauce to put on other things too for him like pasta and mash potato or fish!...... Constipation has been fixed with prunes now! lol- bless him! Think its quite normal when starting solids for LO to get a bit of constipation- their tummies just arent used to doing complicated digestion! xx

I do stews and stuff in my slow cooker and used to mash/ blend the excess for my lo and freeze it. Unused to shove any spare veg we had in and I don't use salt etc so all good for him. He still has them now but lumps!

Usually we have in it

Chicken/steak
Stock
Carrots
Potato
Sweet potato
Parsnip
Green beans/ runner beans
Peas

Sometimes tinned tomatoes/ sweetcorn/ broccoli
