Sounds daft as I ain't even preg yet but one of my main concerns is that I love little legs so much I don't know how I'll manage to love another child! Sounds stupid I know but it really concerns me! Do you just find it within you or Do you have to constantly ensure you don't favouritise? I know my mil favouritises my hubbie ( first born) over his sister As it is it obvious and she's personally told me there's no love like your born!

It's really weird hun but it just comes naturally. I thought that it would be harder with each child but you just find enough love to go around

thats what i aws worried about, especially seeing as i didnt fully bond with ella when i was pregnant. but when she came, it just all came so naturally and i love them both so much you wouldnt believe!! i dont favour one over the other, i mean, if anything, i over compensate slightly with katie, by giving her tonnes more cuddles, and i do probs cuddle ella less than i'd like to cos of miss jealousy pants, but neither of them misses out or anythin!!

my mum favours katie, deffinately, but she's been told by people that she'll probs end up favouring ella, cos she delivered her and thats what other people have experienced. but katie's grandma's little treasure (as she tells her a million times a day!) and i cant see that changng!!

I felt exactly the same!! It was strange looking at Sam before Toby was born and trying to imagine loving anyone else as much - but the second Toby was here I had those same feelings for him :cloud9:

My concerns exactly!! I am 12weeks preggers with my second and I am so worried about this one and not feeling the same that I have started hoping this one is a girl. My reasoning behing that is if this one is a different sex then I can't compare as they will be different from the start!!

My mum says she doesn't love her first as much as her other two... i think she just prefers girls tho. (and obviously, I'm so loveable )

I did think that when my sisters second was born there was favoritism towards the first, but I think they were really just trying to make him feel like he'd not been "replaced" by the new baby. And now they're a bit older I see that she loves them both, cos they're different people and have their own strengths, and have different things to be proud of in each one.

aaah, its actually not a silly question! loads of ppl have asked me how i felt after each and every one of mine (I have four).
It certainly gets easier, the more children you have, but the magnitude of love you feel for your first baby continues with each new one!
Your second child will be just as loved as the first.
It's instinctual.. xxx

i was like this with zander i got really emotional huggin bella thinkin omg im not going to have the time and how can i love another child ect but when zander was here everything fell into place and i love them both the same :cloud9:

Just happens in the first seconds after being born, just think you have already loved it carrying it and creating it , sharing your last 9mths, so when born it's still all there

Usually they have the some sort of resemblence to each other, so you have already loved that little face, you just get more love going on!

Yikes thats an awful thing for your children to know :oooo:

We're worried about the same thing, but were told that there's always enough love to go around!
