i was woken up this morning at 3.36 with a really bad pain. it started off at the front of my bump and worked its way round to the bottom of my back too. it was a mixture of dull/sharp and lasted roughly about 30-45 seconds. i went back to sleep and was woken up again about 5ish with exactly the same. i got up and went down to the loo and it lasted all this time it got so bad i even felt a bit sick, even walking around a bit didnt help. when it stopped i went back to bed. i have had this a few times and the bottom of my back aches now in between.
roughly so far ive had them 3.36, 5ish, 6.45, 7.10.
could it be the start, does it sound like anything?

im sorry hun i dont know how it feels when it starts but im rooting for ya! keep us updated if you can :cheer:

sounds like it could be.....how exciting!!

Im guna say vicky yes, but not immediately - within the next couple of days i think.
You will have this urge not to stray far and nest like mad!you know its then imminant! Feeling sick, diaheaor, headaches can be the big run up to it anhd your back aching like mad too if your baby is in the back to back postion.

Hope you have everything ready to go mate, cos dont sound like long at all. :cheer:

Hi

Sounds like its not long for you now hun :D
Katrina

so far ive had it 3.36, 5ish, 6.40, 7.10, 7.35, 8.09 and 8.25
its lasting on average about 30 seconds

woo! Sounds promising, good luck and get all the rest you can!

looks like its roughly half an hour ish in between. walking around doesnt seem to help, i tried to go back to bed but when i have one i get up and it seems to get worse the pain is more in my lower back and starting to creep to my hips

:cheer: Yes that is how mine started with my last son, and he was born the next day so could be within the next 24 hours :cheer:

Does sound like it could be very early stage, i have been having simular but there is no pattern to them so im not thinking about it.
With Aimee i had the runs and the nesting thing all in the same day and went into labour that evening straight into regular contractions so think it just varies person to person.
Make sure you try and rest as much as poss and eat energy food as you could be up for a while!

good luck
x

so far since 8.25 i have had it 8.52, 9.17, 9.49 and 10.03
i have been to the loo twice this morning it wasnt diarrhoea as such but was a bit looser than normal (sorry if tmi)
im not going to tell anyone yet just in case it stops and i dont want to get their hopes up and worry OH unnecessarily so ive been writing them down and ill see how i go the rest of the day

i was hoping it wouldnt start until i got my piles cleared  i dont want them to say i can see the head! oh hold on i can see 2! :rotfl:

Oh god hun, you make me laugh :rotfl:

this was exactly how i started with my 1st :D - sounds like lo will be arriving soon - good luck - keep trying to eat little bits - even if you do feel sick and drink plenty of water

Best of luck hun hope this is it for you.

i thought it had stopped cos i didnt have any more since about 11.30 but i just got up and had such a strong pain in my front and my lower back i couldnt even stand up straight until it passed.
i read in false labour they can be irregular but said in false labour the pain is just in the front so i really hope it isnt false
