Hello, I'm new to this forum.

My partner is due tomorrow (friday) and last night she was litraly screeming out loud because of her back pains.

She has been in bed all day today and cant move due to the pain she gets in her back when she trys to move.

Is this the start of labour?

I don't know what to do!

Thanks
A concerned father to be.

Could well be back labour or baby could be lying on 1 of her nerves.

If she is so bad contact your/her midwife and explain the situation.

Hope all goes well.

how far is she on?

i have had a bit of sciatica, where baby is pressing on the nerves but if she is nearly at due date it could well be labour niggles. any concerns definitely as oldermum says contact the midwife and they will reassure you, thats what they are there for.

Rusks, she's due tomorrow!

She wants me to ring the midwife but im shy!!! and I think she is too

If your wife is still in this much pain, you really do have to ring your MW. I can understand you being shy, but your MW will have seen all of this before and will know what's best to do. Good luck

Hi

I agree phone the mw she will tell you what to do .
Good luck to you both :)

She is getting pains around the top of the utarus now too? any ideas? labour?

pub...Your wife wants you to phone the m/w . i am unsure why you haven't.
This forum can give adivce but it doesn't replace professional advice.

pub i hope you phoned MW especially as she is due tomorrow!!

what did she say? sounds like it could well be labour but put your mind at rest

Yes, you need to phone the MW now! As Cloud9 says, we cannot give professional advice, which is what your wife needs.

Pub have you phoned the midwife yet? Im with the girls on this one you need to speak to a professional we cannot tell you for defineate if its labour and it doesnt matter how many times you ring in the last few days they will be more than happy to check your wife out, I hope that you have and everythings sorted now

How is she ? Did you ring the midwife?

Lots of ladies go overdue, i'm sure baby will be with you sooner than you think.
