Question for cloth nappy users

What do you use to clean your baby's bum?

We use washable wipes - basically just squares of cotton. So much nicer than disposable wipes as they don't slide around when dealing with runny poos.

I've seem them and wondered what they are like. I think he's allergic to wipes now as I just got some I hadn't used before and his bum is so sore and red

I use washable wipes now too. One side terry towelling and the other fleece. Much better than disposable ones and have saved me loads of money. I also didn't realise for ages that the disposable ones weren't flushable - oops.
