Question About Clear Blue Digital ----NEW PIC

This is NOT for me

For my friend:

she did a CBD test, which came up not pregnant.
When she opened up the test though, there was a faint line.

Do these things work the same way as a normal test? Or does a faint line mean something else on a CB?

she said "One had a test line and a faint line, the other just a very faint line"

Any idea what this means? (apart from the fact that she needs to do another test LOL)

I would say defo test again in a few more days. Maybe with a more sensitive test.

I thought i read somewhere that the clearblue digital has two lines regardless of whether the women is pregnant but i may be wrong on that one

The digi's work differently from normal tests and picks up LH as well as HCG so will always have 2 lines hun

Hi Hun Yes there will always be two blue lines on a clear blue pg tests even if it says your not pregnant i have had so many of thesa i undo the test to find a second faint line and it says not pregnant the cause of this is for somereason the way they are made the urine leaks the control die and spreads it leaving it looking like a positive pregnany test ..

Its really sad especially when you wanting to be pregnant and ever so confusing leaving you am i or arnt i
There is many posts web pages etc about thesa second faint lines on cbdt if you take a look
type in clear blue digital not pregnant but second faint line and many storys will come up where others
have experianced the same thing ..

Last week i thought i was pregnant dont know if you have read my diary in the ttc thread
but i also bought the new clear blue test where it tells how many wks you are and the test was bfn and
when i open it there was two line and even one on the how many wks are you hcg strip
i done another few tests and they was all bfn and i have my af now so just shows ya thats why they say
dont open the test after you have seen a negative or not pregnant result ..

I would ask her to test again just to be sure but this is what thesa clear blue tests do there good tests
but leave you puzzled if you open them after seeing a not pregnant

Hmm well she's more confused than ever now, she bought 4 more tests.

2 tescos ones came up neg but the normal clearblues with the cross... 2 of those have faint lines....so its looking likely.

Clearblue digital arent as sensitive as the normal clearblue 'cross' tests so i would say leave it another day or two and test again and hopefully the results will be stronger.
Not sure how sensitive Tescos tests are

WHY DID NOBODY TELL ME THE DIGITAL ONES ARENT AS SENSITIVE!!!!

I am still kinda convinced I am pregnant (with the way I am feeling, etc)..... bought one of these digitals thinking they were supposed to be the bees knees and it came up not pregnant.

I think the digi ones are 50mIU
and the normal ones are 25mIU

I think I can see a faint vertical line through the horizontal.

I can see a line But did it come up within the time frame as those clearblue are terrible for giving lines after the time frame.

Hiya, I got a BFP on a cheapie test strip only 7 days pass OV. However the digi ones did not show up a BFP for at least a week later. Altho the digi ones say they have a sensitivity of 25, i think personally, they arnt as sensitive as other 25 level ones.
