Proud mummy - sleep related (pointless post)

Pointless post but so very proud of her.

After having a bad period with her waking every hour for a feed, I never thought I would see the day that she slept for near 12hrs.

Last night she had a feed at 8:40pm and went straight to sleep and didn't wake until just after 8:20am for a feed. She has been going between 6hrs and 8hrs most nights for the past week or two and that has been heaven for me.

Watch, now that I have bragged about her long sleep, she will be a little nightmare tonight or from now on again and not sleep at all .

I know how you feel. When she went through one of her growth spurts I was sleeping on the lounge as she was seriously feeding every hour or less all day and night, for about a week. During that time I thought she would never sleep through.

You will get there, it just takes time. In the mean time just remember that all the sleepless nights are worth it and if in doubt just look into your beautiful little mans eyes and you will forget how tired you are. Worked for me all those times .
