When I was TTC my son I was given progesterone and I was on it for 16 weeks..
I still have a couple of boxes in date ....
Do you think I should start using it now? I'm 1 DPO ..

I didn't take it until conception last time
But I've heard people use it from ovulation

My Dr told me I can have it when ever I need it.
She told me to keep hold of it for when I do


But I'm 1dpo and I won't be able to get hold of her until Monday

I don't want to risk anything

If you have questions regarding the timing of when to start the progesterone you really should book in an appointment with your doctor. No one on this forum can reliably provide you information about your individual circumstances.

Hi lulla!!
Personally I wouldn't take it till bfp as can delay your period. With second pregnancies you only take until 12 weeks also. I was on till 16 with baby 1 and 12 with baby 2 x

agreed with previous posters. It's better to see your doc even when you plan taking vitamins.
