Hi,

I´ve currently been TTC for 7 months now after having the implaint removed and nothing is happening :( any advise on what to do or when i should consult a doctor?

Sorry to hear your having a tuff time, I'm into cycle 6 of TTC myself so kinda know how you feel.

Have you tried the OPK? These have helped me to see exactly when I'm ovulating to maximise my chances, I think a lot of girls on here have or are using them.

Not sure on the doctor but if your worried I'd go see them and see what they say. I saw mine when I came off the pill and I had blood test to make sure all was OK which it was so maybe they might do that. I don't know what else they do past that, sorry. I'm sure someone else will have some advise :)

Good luck and try and stay positive!

Hi there,
It may depend on your age... I'm 37, and in 8th cycle ttc. I went to see my GP last week, as most like to start doing tests after 6 months if you're over 35. However if you're younger, most will ask you to come back after a year ttc. No harm in you giving your GP a call though as see if they'll start checking things out (like your hormone levels) earlier than 1 year.

Best of luck! Xx

Good luck u are on same testing day as me will u be testing this month?

aww hun, sorry your getting worried about things.
my GP was really good, we had only been TTC for around 5months when we went to the docs, we explained about OH's previous job with him working with solvent ink and if that get onto skin it can cause infertility supposidly.
so she gave him a cup lol and we had to hand in the sample within an hour to the testing lab.
i had been using OPK tests so knew i was ok, have you been using them?
i think you and your OH should go to your GP and state your worries, because stress is not good when TTC, and most GP'S try and help and dont want you to be stressed so might check you and your OH out so that when everything comes back ok, you's can TTC stress free...hope im making sense here lol.

im sure everything is fine tho hun xx

Hi weeemms

I know how frustrating it can be TTC, I have been for 10 months now after coming off the depo injection, still waiting for BFP.

I think it souldnt do any harm to go to docs and see what they have to say.

I know its hard hun but you just have to stay positive and just keep trying.

As some of the other ladies have said, OPK are useful as well to make sure you are actually ov and when.

Hope you get it sorted
xx

Weemums1 and ChelleyBaby , keep going - I took 10 months to fall pregnant after having the Depo injections with my scond child, i think it builds up slightly and I guess this just needs to get out of your system.. it will happen...

Sending baby dust your way

Hi JJ

Thanks for that. Its made me think that I might actually have a chance :)

Sorry to hear that emms

At least you can look forward to trying again soon :)

Hi Hunni

We have been TTC for over 4 years, so it all depends on the individual. I would give it until after a year of TTC, then go and visit a doctor, as majority of doctors will not do any tests until after a year of TTC anyway.

Good Luck xx
