Ive applied to the family fund for driving lessons and have only done it cos stephens classed as disabled and free driving lessons, who wouldnt?

Just looked at the family funds site on driving lessons and im somewhat argghhhh at what i just read. Basically irt says they do lessons through bsm - im not with bsm im with a independant instructor and I really like him and get on with him and dont want to swop over free lessons or not. My other half says im being daft. But why swop when im with a good instructor that I trust!

What would you do?

Depends on how much you need help with paying for lessons? If you dont need the help then stick with the instructor you're comfortable with

personally i think id swap.i know you like the other instructor but whos to say you wouldnt like another one.if its going to help you financially then why not accept the help, lessons can be really pricey cant they.

I think for me it would depend on how much i needed the money. If i was skint and they would pay with a different instructor id do it but if i could afford it id probably stick with who i was comfortable with.
I went through 5 instructors till i found one i was comfortable with though  I had issues with being alone in a car someone i didnt know.

I am pretty skint and the 30 quid i use could be used elsewhere ie kids!

Imight see if they can swop it over if i give my instructors name etc, but if not i think i dont have much choice.
