No idea how far along she is really but guessing similar to me by size of her bump that said I think she will be having it any day soon 7am she was outside painting the swing set her 3yr old has and is now mowing the lawn. (Not a big deal except that's what her hubby usually does she never mows!) Been wanting to go and ask her but keep missing her to find out her due date. :) we don't really socialise but do say hello exchange Christmas cards n have a chat now and again. Also am hoping we don't pick same names !

How funny I have the same thing! The lady that lives opposite the fence from me had her baby just the other day. I've seen her a few times, but mainly I get all the goss from my old lady next door and she told me she was a few weeks ahead of me. She also mentioned that she'd told her about me and she really wanted us to meet! So now I have the awkwardness of making the first move or not?! Can't say I'm massively keen to be honest as she could be a right annoyance and how do you avoid someone that can possibly see u everyday? OR she could be lovely and it would be great to make a new mummy friend whilst of on maternity leave. Xxxx

Ah I noticed the lady two doors down from me is pregnant. When I was about 12 weeks I seen her shopping looking down the baby aisles. And then seen her recently with a big bump and a couple of times since. Im sure she must be about the same stage as me. But we only moved in here about 16 months ago and ive only ever spoken to her once and that was just when they delivered her parcel to mine to sign for. So id dare not ask her either. And to be honest, she rarely leaves the house, so I don't just see her! Xx

Id go for it and post a note in her door or go introduce yourself. Chances are she is not an annoyance and is just as wary about introducing herself to you as you are her. Otherwise she would probably have been shouting over the fence to you already lol xx
