I am 5months pregnant and now I am facing so much pain on my back. I am in a position where I can’t get out of bed or can’t even walk. The scanning report showed that baby is resting on my sciatic nerve. The doctor has advised me to take complete rest. Has anyone else had this pain? One of my friend suggested to take physiotherapy treatment from any registered clinic in Mississauga like Physionow nearby. But I don’t know if such a treatment is safe during pregnancy. Please advice.

Poor you- sounds horrible- I have had sciatica before and know now horrendously painful it is. I'd definitely get yourself sorted with an osteopath and some physiotherapy ASAP- your doc should refer you so you can get it on the nhs but there'll probably be a wait so just pay for a few private sessions in the meantime- worth every penny. Make sure you explain at the time of booking that you're pregnant. I hope you can get some treatment soon and that you start to feel better.
